In linguistics, a hyponym is a word or phrase whose semantic field is included within that of another word, its hyperonym or hypernym. In simpler terms, a hyponym is in a type-of relationship with its hypernym. In this video i describe the paper "CRIM at SemEval-2018 Task 9: A Hybrid Approach to Hypernym Discovery" where authors present their winning approach to the SemEval Hypernym task. ⏩ Abstract: This report describes the system developed bythe CRIM team for the hypernym discovery task at SemEval 2018.
